Hrithik Roshan To Be Paid On Per Day Basis for Mohenjo Daro

Super starts and their business games continue to shock the industry.  Director Ashutosh Gowariker will have to rush his shooting of Mohenjo Daro as its deadline has been fixed to 150 days. Gowariker and his co-producer Disney India will have to shell out extra money to Hrithik on a per-day basis if they couldn’t complete the shoot in the decided period. This has already been added in the contract by the star.

Hrithik Roshan will be paid Rs 50crore for the film. Though he had made decisions not to take the profit shares from the movie, he will take the pay on a ‘pro-rata basis’. The gossips claim that this will raise the total sky-high budget of the movie. Hrithik and Gowariker chose not to comment on this.

“Hrithik believes that five months of working days are enough to complete the film,” asserts a close friend of the actor. It is also rumoured that Hrithik actor wants to sign another film soon and also start his father Rakesh Roshan’s film next year. Kareena Kapoor was perhaps the first to come up with a similar contract when Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached her for Ram Leela. This is one of the main reasons she was replaced by Deepika Padukone.

The film plot is set in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BCE. Pooja Hegde will be pairing Hrithik Roshan in the film. The music is composed by the most prominent and prolific musician, A. R. Rahman. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on January 22, 2016.
