British pop star Paloma Faith rescheduled her shows in Manchester this week just two hours before the first concert was due to start.
She announced her gigs at the Manchester Apollo, Wednesday and Thursday were being rescheduled due to illness, reportscontactmusic.com.
She broke the news in a message posted on social networking site Facebook.com Wednesday.
“Paloma regrets to announce that she has had to cancel tonight’s and tomorrow night’s shows in Manchester due to illness. The shows will be rescheduled for Nov 26th and 28th, tickets for tonight’s show (Nov 5) will be valid for the show on the 26th (November) and tickets fortomorrow (Nov 6) will be valid for the 28th (November),” the statement reads.
Faith then posted a personal apology on the social networking page.
“I’m so sorry I’ve had to cancel these dates, but I want to be well enough to give you all the best possible show. I hope to be back on my feet after a few days rest, so I look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled dates,” she posted.
