The film, an action-packed thriller which stars Hritik as Rajveer Nanad and Katrina Kaif as Harleen Sahni is a remake of the Hollywood movie Night and day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, who gave us movies like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Salaam Namaste and Anjana Anjani; the film budgeted at INR130 and will be out on the 2nd October in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.

Hritik tested his limits in Bang Bang!, earning bragging rights to claim the title of first actor to perform a fly boarding stunt in a Bollywood film. He told Mumbai Mirror, “I have pushed myself to the extreme for this stunt. This sequence called for mental and physical tenacity. The rush that I experienced while training and executing the sequence was out of the world.”

Apart from this, demanding INR30 crore for the movie, he became the first Bollywood actor to ask for the highest amount any actor in Bollywood had charged up front till that date

Despite several hurdles like having to undergo brain surgery in July due to an injury from a stunt, his separation from Suzanne in December and ligament tears in both his knees this August; the star performed all the stunts in Bang Bang! By Himself.
