Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami: a pledge to the common man
Directed by Ravindra Gautam, the bollywood movie stars Anupam Kher as Purushotam Narayan Joshi, a common man who fails to earn his bit of appreciation despite being completely honest during his life-long service as a government employee. However, all is not lost as his two sons Subhash (Divyendu Sharma) and Shekhar (Manu Rishi) set out to get their father what he dreamt of all through his life –the ultimate sign of respect: Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami.
Also starring Neha Dhupia as Jayaprabha, the film is produced by Anurradha Prasad and Abhinav Shukla under the banner of Nautanki Films and is written byRahil Qaazi. Music is by Ram Sampath.
Jigariyaa: love at first sight
Directed by Raj Purohit, Jigariyaa is a romantic film inspired by real events. The movie stars Harshvardhan Deo (as Shyamlal Gupta or Shaamu) and Cherry Mardia (as Radhika Sharma or Radha) in lead roles.
Shaamu, an only son of halwaai Ramlal Gupta is a cheerful boy from Agra. He spends his time writing poetry and is admired by his small gang of unemployed friends. On the other hand, Radhika from Madhura, the daughter of Pandit Shankar Dayal Sharma is an educated and generous girl who assists her father in his social endeavors as a do gooder.
It is love at first sight for Shaamu when he sees Radha, who is visiting her grandmother in Agra. Thus begins his quest to find this mysterious girl. The two meet and fall in love, what happens next?
The film is produced by Raju Chadha and Vinod Bachchan under the banner of Wave Cinemas Ponty Chadha and A Soundarya Production, with the Screenplay by Raj Purohit and Apratim Khare. The story was written by Vinod Bachchan, with music by Agnel- Faizan and Raj-Prakash.
Sparks: love and betrayal
The movie is all about love and betrayal and stars Rajniesh Duggal, a model-turned-actor along with the cast of Ashutosh Rana, Subhashree Ganguly, Govind Namdeo, Manoj Joshi, Rati Agnihotri, Sanjay Mishra, Ranjeet, Rohit Raj and Mansa Bahl,
The movie was written and directed by V.K. Singh and produced by Anurish Media Pvt Ltd by R.S. Yadav and Naresh Yadav. The music for the film was done by Nitiz N Soni, Monty Shama and it was edited by Nilesh Mulye. While the cinematography was done by Rajeev Shrivastava, Sandeep Nath wrote the dialogues and the screenplay was done by V.K. Singh and Ramesh Mishra.
Though slated for a September 12 release, this bollywood movie comes out on October 10 2014.
Tamanchey: love and crime
Starring Nikhil Dwivedi as Munna and Richa Chadda as Babu, the storyline is based upon real-life underworld couple Abu Salem and Monica Bedi. A bit like the Hollywood movie Bonnie and Clyde, the movie shhows us the tragic and cruel underbelly of the underworld. the film is directed by Navneet Behal and is produced by of Fashiontv Films, A WildElephants Motion Pictures by Suryaveer Singh Bhullar.
Singers in the film include Sonu Nigam and Akriti Kakkar along with lyricist Arko Pravo Mukherjee, , giving us songs like In Da Club,Pyar Main Dil Pe Maar Munna & babu Love Mix and Pyar me Dl Pe Maar De Goli to name a few.
