As a part of the Swachh Bharat campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, megastart Amitabh Bachchan too picks up broom after Salman Khan on Wednesday. He swept the streets in Mumbai calling out for more contributions from the country.
Amitabh Bachchan initiated the campaign just before shooting for the grand finale of KBC. He went out to the streets of Mumbai and started cleaning. He also shared the pictures of his participation in the nationwide cleanliness drive on Twitter.

Amitabh Bachchan was nominated by industrialist Anil Ambani to participate in the campaign.

The Swachh Bharat campaign was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Oct 2, which has been taken up by celebrities in a big way with stalwarts like Salman Khan, Nagarjuna and Hrithik Roshan cleaning roads.
Mean while, Prime Minister had pulled in nine celebrities including like Sachin Tendulkar, Shashi Throor, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan seeking their contribution to spread the awareness on cleanliness thereby transforming Swachh Bharath into a people’s movement.
Amitabh Bachchan and Narendra Modi share a good rapport from earlier itself. Big B is also the brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism.
