Popular host and television actress Shruti Seth and director hubby Danish Aslam have been blessed with a baby girl a few days back.
The new parents are happy that the baby is healthy. Shruti says, “We have named her Alina and Danish and I are absolutely overjoyed. She has changed our lives completely. We love every minute of our time with her.” When asked if we could get a picture of the baby for our readers, mommy Shruti said, “I’m a bit superstitious about putting her photos out so soon. She’s too tiny. I am being an over protective mother perhaps.”
Break Ke Baad director Danish Aslam got married to actress Shruti Seth in Goa on 2010. Director Kunal Kohli conducted the proceedings. Imran Khan, Avantika Malik, Deepika Padukone, Siddharth Mallya, Maria Goretti, Mini Mathur, Gul Panag and VJ Yudi attended the wedding.
Shruti Seth started her career as a model. The actor also worked as a VJ for the show Junglee Jukebox on Channel V and hosted Comedy Circus on Sony. She is known for her bubbly and charming persona. She is popular among audience as Jia, the girl with magical powers in the TV show ‘Shararat’. Shruti Seth is restrained and impactful in her performance of Isha from Rishta.com, a finite television series of Yash Raj Telefilms. Presently, Shruti is doing the family comedy show, ‘The Suite life of Karan and Kabir’ of Disney. It is a remake of ‘The suite life of Zack and Cody’, an American sitcom.
She has even had a tryst with Bollywood films through movies like Fanaa, Raajneeti and Slumdog Millionaire. She was last seen in 2011 film My Friend Pinto.
