Salman Shahrukh and Aamir Khan will share screen space in Anniversary of Aap Ki Adalat

Aap Ki Adalat turns 21, exhibits 3 Khans together for the first time in history

To celebrate the occasion of 21 years of India’s longest running Television show Aap Ki Adalat, India TV organized a never before and dazzling event at Pragati Maidan on December 2. Apart from politically important personalities like President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, popular Bollywood celebs like couple Anupam and Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerjee, Sonakshi Sinha and some others were in attendance. We’ve kept the best for last: collectively known as the ‘3Khans of Bollywood’, the trio of Salman, Shahrukh and Aamir made history by appearing together for the first time on the show.

The trio entertained the audience and seemed to be having a ball with host Rajat Sharma, who, after Arpita, became the next victim of the SRK and Salman kiss. The duo also re-enacted the Famous Towel Dance from Salman’s movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, leaving Aamir slightly bemused.

This was just a big bang waiting to happen, with BTown conspiring to bring Salman and Shahrukh together after their fight and subsequent cold war in 2009 at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party.

Firstly, it was the Iftaar party by Baba Siddiqui in which the two were seen hugging away their quarrels and recently in the big event of Salman’s sister Arpita’s pre-wedding ceremony, where the two patched up their differences and later created the perfect Kodak moment by kissing her on the cheek together. Though Aamir was at the wedding, the three Khan’s did not all meet at the same time. However, Aamir disclosed to the audience that after their patch up, the two Khans called him on Facetime during 2 Pm, keeping him up all night.

The only time in history when the three Khans have been together was at the premier of 3 Idiots, where other stars were also present. The three largely ignored each other and their was definitely a lack of warmth between the three, with Salman walking away as SRK talked to Aamir for awhile.

Salman and Aamir have worked together before in comedy flick Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and the former and SRK have co-starred in three films – Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam (2002). The next question on the audiences’ mind is: when will Aamir and SRK do a film together?

Rajat Sharma understandably is one happy host. He tweeted “I thank viewers for making #AapKiAdalat longest running show ever on Indian Television #21YearsOfAapKiAdalat | @IndiaTV.”

Catch the show on December 7 2014 at 10.00 pm on India TV and Star plus.
