Ranveer has shaved off his head for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s life time dream project ‘Bajirao Mastani’. The movie is the tale of romance between an Indian General, Peshwa Baji Rao I and his second wife, Mastani. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra are leading characters in the movie.
Ranveer Singh plays the role of Baji Rao I, the warrior and the second Peshwa of the Maratha Empire, from 1720 until his death. Deepika Padukone plays Mastani, the second wife of Baji Rao , Priyanka Chopra will be seen as Kashibai, the first wife of Baji Rao and Tanvi Azmi will taking up the role of Radhabai, Bajirao’s mother.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been working on this movie for past ten years and now is a dream come true for him. The film was first announced in the year 2003 with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in lead. After several rumors of casting the mainstream actors including Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan it was not much of a shock for the industry when he opted Ranveer out of all.
The shooting has already been started and the actors have already donned the looks needed for the movie. Ranveer Singh has gone ahead by shaving of his head and has cut himself from the outside world which adds his beloved family. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has also tweeted about her looks in the movie.
The movie is expected to be released on 25th December 2015.
