This show is the most controversial show on Indian television. The format of the show is simple yet challenging. A bunch of celebrities closed in a house without the comfort of watching TV, friends, family, not even a watch. But they are watched round the clock with cameras all around the house. This could give you chance to favourite celebrities better.

Some of the contestants like Vindu, Sameer Soni, and Raageshwari have revived their sinking careers by participating in the show. 1. MTV Roadies – MTV

The longest running reality show is at the third place on my list. Completed 11 seasons and season 12 is on its way. This is one that I personally don’t get bored of; best episodes are of the auditions. Raghu, Rajeev, and Rannvijay just tear the contest apart.

There are no fixed standards as to the selection of the contestant, they are selected on the basis of their “realness”. I’m no employee of MTV and would like to point out that the judges there want the real you.

The contestants need to prove his ability by performing tasks. The witty and famous Raghu and Rajeev are the biggest threat of the participants.

7. Comedy Circus

The comedy reality show which was first started in 2007 has gone through many different seasons and various smaller mini-seasons. The show started with a bang and found tremendous support from the viewers. Apparently some future seasons were not that great. The show has brought forward many excellent Indian as well as Pakistani comedy talents. Actors such as Krishna, Paresh and comedian such as Krushna and Kapil have got a certain TV star status because of their performance.Still the show is grossing good number of viewers, may be because of the laugh out loud nature of Archana Puran Singh.
