A spate of brutal attacks on people from India’s North East and a general feeling of alienation among its people prompted the popular quiz series to launch a whole season with inclusiveness as its main theme.

Kaun Banega Crorepati (Who will become a Millionaire; popularly known as KBC) is an Indian television game show based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
The show has won popularity all over the world. KBC was played on various channels in Pakistan and was hugely followed by Pakistani audience. The show also won acclaim in UK, USA and Canada.
The registrations of Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 started on 5 May 2014.The shooting will begin by July end. Host Amitabh Bachchan revealed on Facebook that show will go live in August.
