Popular dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s host Manish Paul has become famous on the set for his obsession with selfies.
In fact, he has even bought an additional ‘arm’ for his phone. (Called a ‘Selfie Stick’, it can be used to hold the camera/phone at a distance while clicking.)
According the leading newspaper, Manish said, “It’s fun to capture the moments between shots. There is always something interesting happening and we all just love posing with the selfie arm. We have been clicking pictures left, right and centre on the set. In fact, Remo (D’Souza) decided to take my selfie arm home last week.” Well, looks like Mickey Virus is spreading selfie virus now.
This weekend it will be gorgeous Kareena Kapoor as special guest on the sets of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’. Dressed in an off-white anarakali suit, Kareena promoted her upcoming film Singham Returns on the show. Kareena not only interacted with the contestants but also danced with Madhuri Dixit, one of the judges on the show.
Akshay Kumar is also giving special appearance on the show in one of the weekend to promote his upcoming film Entertainment. He dances on the song Johnny Johnny along with choreographer Remo Dsouza who is also the choreographer of the movie.

After Manish Paul had hosted the fifth and sixth seasons of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the makers decision to not bring him back for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 and Manish Paul replaced Drashti Dhami after the dropping TRPs of the show. Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul were hosting the last season of the show and the duo made the show more hilarious and interesting.
